I love candycorn. Not only are they delicious, but they make cute holiday decor...
First up, gather your supplies.
-3 Styrofoam Cones (Dollar Tree)
-Rigid Wrap (Michaels) This big roll was $10.00 ($6 with a 40% off coupon)
-warm water
-scissors
-gloves (optional)

Next, cut the Rigid Wrap into strips.

Before you you cover the cone with the plaster strips, make sure to make a hole in the bottom of each cone with a dowel so you can have the candycones on stands.

Next, gently slide each strip across the top of the warm water, then wrap the strips around each cone until the whole cone is covered. Smooth out the strips.

Paint each cone like a candycorn.

Since I really didn't like the look of just the paint, I decided to weather the candycones by covering each one with stain and wiping the stain off.

I think the strain really added a much needed element to this project...

I then wrapped some raffia around each one.

Finally, I showed them off by putting them on my
Three Benches.
So cute!

Where did you get the stands? Did you cut them or have them pre-cut at a hardware store? They're adorable!
