A Little Bit of Luck

While visiting my Dollar Tree store, I saw a shelf full of heart shaped wreaths. I thought to myself, "I can make a shamrock with those." A few days later I was at the American Fork DI and saw two rolls of green fabric. I knew I could use those for something, and heck each one was .50. After brainstorming, I came up with this grand idea...
See how to make it below:

Take your three heart wreaths
and your green fabric
and start wrapping it around each heart.
I cut a stem from a round foam wreath, like so.
Attach the stem to the two side hearts with hot glue. Wrap the fabric around the hearts and stem until covered. Try to use the hot glue only on the back.
After attaching the stem and wrapping it, attach the top heart with hot glue and wrap the fabric around each wreath until secure.
I bought the Luck thing at Dollar Tree. The original hanging said "Luck of the Irish." I cut the word LUCK off, and added some embellishments.
I already had the square wreath, so I attached the shamrock to the wreath with jute string.
So easy, cheap and cute!

Seriously super cute! Now I am regretting not picking up the three heart straw wreaths that I saw at the DI last week! Bummer!

That is a nice shamrock. I would have never thought of that. I like the way the soft fabric looks against the woody background.

That took great "vision" to see a shamrock out of the straw hearts and green fabric! It looks great!
